サメにさわった!/ touching sharks!

　息子1の夏風邪もようやくおさまってきたので、土曜日（8/18）は葛西臨海水族園に行ってきました。そうしたら、なんと、「タッチンフィーリン」というイベントで、生きているサメやエイに触れたのです!!　息子1は大興奮、かぶりつきです。で、Tシャツはびしょびしょになりました（涙）

　もっとも、以前、井の頭自然文化園の水生物館で同じことをやられたので、着替えは準備万端でしたが。

　おとなしい種類のサメだけ、アカエイは尻尾の棘を処置済みということで、安心して手を入れられます。大人も、楽しみました。でも、息子2は見るだけ。最近、なぜかセミの抜け殻ですら触るのを怖がります。

　　葛西臨海水族園と言えば、マグロの巨大回遊水槽など、今日風の水族館のはしりでしたよね。でも、もう開園23年目なんだそうで。

　で、最近の話題と言えばこれ。ペンギン舎で探したのですが、見つかりませんでした。なお、脱走時は337号（まさに脱走犯ぽい?）だったのが、晴れて「さざなみ」という名前をもらったそうです。

　たっぷり魚を堪能した後、お昼を食べて帰宅。帰りの車中、息子×2は爆睡でした。

On 18, Aug, we were coming to Tokyo Sea Life Park at sea-side area of Tokyo. The park was established in 1989. It has a unique aquarium, which has famous large-scale tank for Tuna and Skipperjack tuna (second photo).
In this time, the aquarium is launching an open pool which visitors can touch sharks and stingrays! Aki was exciting and fascinating to chase sharks (first photo). Of course there are only mild species and spine of stingrays are removed.

There is another news from the park. In this Spring, one Humboldt Penguin had escaped from his pool to the Tokyo Bay. After 3 months Great Escape, he was caught and brought back to the aquarium. I was looking for him in the pool, but it is impossible to specify among tens of penguins :)
