八景島シーパラダイス/ Yokohama Hakkei-jima Sea Paradise

　先日の日曜日（9/2）、横浜の八景島シーパラダイスへ行ってきました。息子2がこのところはまっているジンベイザメを見るためです。いちおう、夏休み最終日ではあったのですが、時おり雷雨という悪天候もあってか、それほど混んでませんでした。
On 02-Sep, we were coming to Hakkei-jima Sea Paradise, aquarium and amusement park complex at bay side area of Yokohama, to meet Whale shark- recently Tomo is fascinating it too much.

お目当てのジンベイザメは、水族館に入ってすぐ見ることができましたよ。確かにでかい。現在5mくらい、でも12mまで大きくなるそうです。そして何と、2匹いるジンベイザメ、どちらも千葉県は館山で捕獲されたのだとか。東京の目と鼻の先にもいるのですね。
There are 2 Whale shark in the aquarium. Both are around 5m in length, and they will grow up approximately 12m in maximum. These were captured off Tateyama, Chiba Pref., just the entrance of Tokyo Bay. I'm surprised that these giant creatures are cruising not only in the ocean but also coastal sea close to Tokyo.

　ジンベイザメと人気を二分したのはマンボウ。こちらは手を伸ばせば触れそうなところで見れたので大興奮でした。

Tomo is also fascinating with the Ocean sunfish. He was very pleased to watch it very close place.

　ほかに、息子2のおすすめは、エイとサメ。どうやら、巨大魚にはまってるようですね。新しい巨大水槽に、イワシの群れとともにたくさんのサメとエイが泳いでます。この水槽にもしばらくはまってました。

Another Tomo's favorites are Sharks and Stingrays...it seems that he likes extra-large fishes in the sea. In the aquarium, there is a new large tank in which fifty thousands of sardines are swimming with sharks and other large fishes. It is really incredible scene.

　イルカ、アシカのショーも見ました。下は、ドルフィン・ファンタジーという、イルカの水槽をトンネルから見れる施設。ちなみにマンボウはここの奥にいました。

There are dolphins in the other special large tank which visitors can observe dolphins through the tunnel beneath the tank.

　ほかにも、いろいろな魚や、ホッキョクグマ、ラッコなどがいます。ちょっと（かなり）お高い入館料ですが、1日遊べて十分楽しめます。なお息子×2は、昼食の後「ふれあいラグーン」のさかなビーチで遊び倒して、帰路は爆睡でした

　しかし、あらためてホームページを見ると見逃した魚がたくさんいる（涙）　奴らがもう少し落ち着いたころに、じっくり見直すことにしましょう。

The aquarium has more collection of fishes and sea mammals. Also there is an 'Open aquarium' in which visitor can touch dolphins and fishes, kids can enjoy beach playing. The entrance fee is indeed expensive but able to enjoy a whole day. If you have interesting with aquatic life, it is worth to visit (about 40min from Shinagawa station by Keihin-kyuko line).

　ところで先日、TBSの『世界遺産』で、オーストラリア西海岸にあるニンガルー海洋公園を放映していました。なんと、ジンベイザメの生活地で一緒に遊泳することもできるらしいです。もちろん、これを見た息子1は、「今度はここに行きたい!」と宣言してます。さて．．．

Once we were watching a documentary TV program of Ningaloo Coast in Western Australia, where visitors can get opportunity of swimming with Whale shark. Of course, Aki claims that we, parents must bring them to there. Well, one day...
